1. About these terms
CareRy (“CareRy”, “we”) operates a platform that connects patients with partner pharmacies and with delivery partners (“you”) who collect orders from pharmacies and deliver them. The business that operates CareRy is CareRy Healthcare Technologies. Its official enterprise address is Bhagyanagar 4th Line, Near Gowthami School, 4th Lane, Cumbum, Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh – 523333.
By applying to deliver with CareRy, or by using the Delivery Portal, you agree to these terms.
2. Our relationship
The nature of the relationship between you and CareRy — including whether and how you are engaged, and on what terms — is as set out in the separate written agreement between you and CareRy. These terms do not by themselves create an employment relationship, a partnership or a guarantee of work.
3. Application and verification
- To apply, you create a CareRy account and give your full name, a contact mobile number, the area you will operate in and an identity reference. You may also give your vehicle type. The information must be true, complete and kept up to date.
- CareRy reviews every application and may verify your details, including by asking for documents or contacting you. Applying does not open the Delivery Portal; approval does. CareRy may approve or decline an application and will tell you the outcome.
- You must tell CareRy promptly if any of your details change.
4. Account security
Your Delivery Portal account is personal to you. Keep your password confidential, do not let anyone else sign in or deliver in your place, and tell CareRy promptly at support@carery.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Operating area and vehicle
You deliver within the operating area agreed with CareRy. If you use a vehicle, you are responsible for it being roadworthy and for holding every licence, registration and insurance that applicable law requires for that vehicle and for you to drive or ride it.
6. Delivery assignments
- Delivery partners work in a team led by a delivery head. Your delivery head assigns orders to you, and they appear under Active deliveries in your portal. CareRy does not promise any minimum number of assignments.
- An assigned delivery is yours to pick up. If you cannot take it, decline it before pickup and give a reason; the order then goes back for reassignment.
7. Pickup
- Collect the order from the partner pharmacy that prepared it. A pickup can be marked only once the pharmacy has marked the order ready for dispatch.
- Check that the package is sealed and matches the order before you mark it Picked up. Do not open packages.
8. Delivery and proof of delivery
- Mark the delivery Out for delivery when you set off, and deliver to the recipient at the address shown.
- Mark the delivery Delivered only after you have handed the package to the recipient or to an adult at the address who accepts it for them. The time of each status update is recorded on the delivery and is the record of delivery.
- Steps cannot be skipped, and you may add a note at each step.
9. Failed deliveries and exceptions
If you cannot complete a delivery — for example, the recipient is unreachable, the address is wrong, the package is damaged, or it is unsafe to continue — mark it failed and give a clear reason in the portal, and follow any instruction from your delivery head about returning the package. Report any accident, loss, damage or safety incident to your delivery head and to CareRy as soon as you safely can.
10. Cash on delivery
- For cash-on-delivery orders, collect exactly the amount shown for the order, record the collection in the portal (the amount is taken from the order total), and give the customer a receipt if the portal provides one.
- Cash you collect is held on CareRy’s behalf until you hand it over. Hand it to your delivery head through the portal on the same day you collect it. Your delivery head confirms receipt in their own portal.
- You are responsible for cash in your custody until your delivery head confirms receipt.
11. Handling packages
Handle packages with care, keep them clean, dry and away from heat, and keep them secure and in your custody at all times between pickup and delivery. Never open a package, and never hand a package to anyone other than the recipient or a person at the address who accepts it for them.
12. Customer information and confidentiality
- You will see the recipient’s name, contact number and delivery address only so that you can complete the delivery. Delivery partners do not have access to prescriptions or medicine details, and must not try to obtain them.
- Use customer information only to complete the delivery. Do not copy, photograph, store, share or use it for any other purpose, and do not contact customers except about their delivery.
- Comply with applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 once and as it applies.
13. Customer interaction and prohibited conduct
Be courteous and respectful to customers, pharmacy staff and colleagues. You must not:
- ask for or accept more than the amount due, or ask for tips as a condition of delivery;
- deliver while under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- mark a delivery Picked up, Out for delivery or Delivered when it is not;
- share your account, or let anyone else complete deliveries assigned to you.
14. Safety
Your safety comes first. Obey traffic laws, do not use your phone while riding or driving, wear appropriate safety gear such as a helmet where the law requires it, and never take risks to meet a delivery time. If conditions are unsafe, stop and tell your delivery head.
15. Payment
Any fees or payment for deliveries, and how and when they are paid, are as set out in the separate written agreement between you and CareRy. You are paid a fixed amount for each successful delivery. These terms do not promise any level of earnings or number of assignments.
16. Suspension and termination
- You may stop delivering with CareRy at any time by telling CareRy in writing, after completing or handing back any deliveries in progress and handing over any cash you hold.
- CareRy may suspend your access or end the arrangement if you breach these terms or applicable law, mishandle cash or packages, misuse customer information, or behave unsafely or abusively. Where appropriate, CareRy will tell you the reason and give you an opportunity to respond.
17. Responsibility and limitation of liability
You are responsible for loss caused by your breach of these terms, including loss of cash or packages in your custody through your fault. To the extent permitted by law, CareRy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and the Delivery Portal is provided “as available”. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
18. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any concern with your delivery head or with CareRy first so it can be resolved quickly and fairly. Subject to that, the courts at Ongole, Andhra Pradesh shall have jurisdiction.
19. Changes to these terms
CareRy may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. CareRy will give reasonable notice of material changes through the Delivery Portal or by message. Continuing to use the portal after a change takes effect means you accept it.
